Caballo Viejo is one of the most famous songs in the Latin American repertoire. Bucolic, folkloric and rural imagery together with the desire for a strong and fulfilling life, describe a wonderful story of an old horse with resilience and pride. It is composed by Simón Díaz and has been covered many times by famous artists with different arrangements. This one is for solo classical guitar, with folk harp colors and intrinsic vivid syncopation, distinct in the rich Venezuelan cultural heritage.
